Tokyo Midtown's illumination at Midtown Garden features approximately 240,000 bubble lights which express a snowy wonderland. The display, which runs from 5 p.m. to 11 p.m. until Dec 25, depicts a Christmas townscape enveloped in gold, which transforms into a beautiful snowscape as it gradually begins to snow. In addition to the interlocking sound and light effects for each scene, you can also enjoy special effects of floating bubbles and snow falling for a limited time only until December 13.
Photos below show the "Promenade of Lights," with 320,000 golden lights adorning trees, which will run until Feb 24, 2025. Also, a "Timeless Gold Tree" -- a fir tree adorned with mirrored ornaments, creates a warm welcome for visitors.
